Eljay`s Art Space

This month, Eljay`s Artist Showcase features another terrific artist: Hyun Mi Choi, whose work is shown to the left and below. Born and raised in Kwang Ju, South Korea, Hyun Mi uses traditional Korean watercolor techniques to convey a "feeling, a mood, an energy" and tell a story in each work of art. They are wonderful! If you haven`t already done so, please stop by to enjoy her work!

Twelve artists are selected each year to display their work at Eljay’s River Market Coffeehouse. Since we have limited space we select artists carefully. Once an artist commits to showing his or her work, we provide information about the artist through a variety of marketing efforts, post selected photographs of his or her work on our website, include information about their showing in our email broadcasts to current customers. Additionally, each artist is showcased at our Third Fridays Event, which features the jazz of Kinetic Trio.

Meeting Space
Eljay’s Showcase Gallery is designed for community meetings and is available during our normal hours of operation. The room is somewhat flexible and can comfortably accommodate groups of 15-20 seated. We can offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks for your meetings.

Our entire facility is available for private events Monday through Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight and anytime on Sundays.
